Born in Sri Lanka completed my studies in Wesley College Colombo. Soon after college followed a course in Charted Institute Management accounts UK and became ACMA. I moved to Dubai and worked in Tyco International & Thomas Cook Travel & Exchange Company as Financial & Administration Controller for 27 years. I migrated to Australia in 2012 and became an ACPA. I joined H&R Block as tax consultant. I was promoted as Branch Manager within a year. I was judged as Employee of the Year in 2005 and later Best Branch Manager in 2006. I moved to Tax7 accountants as their working arrangements suited me during Covid. During my career as tax consultants for the past 10 years in Australia, I had the opportunity of familiarising myself in various aspects of Individual, Company &trust tax laws in Australia. Deceased estate is one of my favourite topics as it is complicated, and many people are not able to proceed further without the advice of the accountant.
